RUCK & CO. was founded by a small group of rugby men with a love of proper clothes and a frustration with the lack of them. We wanted shirts you could button up for a Monday meeting, then wear to the clubhouse the following Saturday without changing a thing.

We don't make jerseys. We make the wool, the leather, the brass and the tweed that surrounds the game — the things a gentleman puts on before and after the whistle blows.

Our cloth comes from mills with names you may know: Harris Tweed in the Outer Hebrides, British waxed cotton from the north of England, Scottish lambswool. Our leather is full-grain and our hardware is solid brass. Where a corner could be cut, we have chosen not to.
